At 88 years old, Donna found herself facing an unexpected challenge. Her old iPad could no longer support the MyChart app she relied on to manage her healthcare. Feeling stuck and unsure where to turn, Donna was connected to the Northwest Wisconsin Workforce Investment Board’s (NWWIB) Connecting Lives through Internet & Community Knowledge (CLICK) program—and everything started to change.
Through CLICK, Donna was paired with Eric Faber, a NWWIB Digital Navigator, who provided not only the right equipment but also the one-on-one support she needed to get back online.
“Eric is a lifesaver,” Donna shared. “He’s incredibly smart and had exactly what I needed to access MyChart again.”
With Eric’s guidance, Donna quickly regained access to her important health information. He continues to support her as she navigates new technology, patiently answering questions and helping her build confidence every step of the way.
Now, Donna uses her device with ease and feels empowered knowing she can stay connected to her care and her community. Her story is a testament to the power of digital inclusion—and a reminder that with the right support, it’s never too late to learn something new.
