Reconnecting Through Technology

After many years without a computer, this senior citizen never imagined how transformative reconnecting with technology could be when she enrolled in the Connecting Lives Through Internet & Community Knowledge (CLICK) program. With the guidance and patience of NWWIB Digital Navigator, Eric Faber, she found herself not only learning how to use a computer again—but truly enjoying the process.

“Eric is a wonderful teacher,” she shared. “He explains everything clearly and always takes the time to answer all of my questions.”

Through this support, she has regained confidence and curiosity in using technology. Today, she uses her computer daily—for emailing loved ones, researching topics of interest, shopping online, checking the weather, streaming movies, and even listening to meditative music during her mindfulness practice.

“I feel so fortunate and grateful for this opportunity,” she said. “It’s been a joy to reconnect with learning and to better understand the digital world around me.”

Her story is a powerful reminder that it’s never too late to learn—and that with the right support, technology can open doors at any age.
