A Journey of Determination

Joseph reached out to the NWWIB when released from prison and joined the Pathways Home 4 program. When enrolled in the program, he first started working at Stuntz Concrete as a general laborer, he knew he wanted more for his future. With a clear goal in mind, Joseph set his sights on earning his Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) — a step that would open the door to new opportunities.

Thanks to the support of the Pathways Home 4 program, most of his CDL training costs were covered. What remained was generously paid for by a friend who believed in his potential and wanted to see him succeed. With determination, Joseph completed his CDL and soon after received a promotion, becoming a truck driver for the company.

His story is a powerful reminder that with the right support and perseverance, upward mobility in the workforce is possible — and success is within reach.
