Fostering Opioid Recovery through Workforce Development (FORWD) supports individuals in Wisconsin who may have been impacted by opioid misuse or are interested in pursuing training or employment to provide relief to those impacted by the opioid crisis..

Who is eligible? (If you identify with any of the below, you will qualify for the FORWD program):

-You have recently been terminated or laid off or have received a notice of termination or layoff

-You were temporarily or permanently laid off as a consequence of the opioid crisis

-You are long-term unemployed (4 weeks or longer)

-You were self-employed and became unemployed or significantly underemployed as a result of the opioid crisis

What can we offer assistance on:

-Financial assistance for eligible skill training and education programs

-Job preparation coaching (resume writing and interviewing prep)

-Job connections with our industry and business partners

-Financial assistance with childcare, transportation, and recovery services
